Stain & Deck Refinishing

How much does painting a house cost?

It depends on square footage, prep required, and finish level. Most interior rooms land between $500 and $1,200 each; whole-home exteriors typically run $4,500 to $12,000. We give a fixed written price after walking the property — no surprises after we start.
What paint do you use?

Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore. Premium brands only — they cover better, last longer, and touch up cleanly.
Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. All of our work carries a 7 to 10 year workmanship warrantee against peeling, blistering or chipping when properly prepped by our crew.
How soon can you start?

Interior projects usually start within 2–3 weeks. Exterior work is scheduled around weather from April through October. Call and we'll tell you exactly where you'd land on the calendar.

About me! I have a background spanning real estate, hospitality, corporate business, years of painting homes myself as well as running my own handyman business. I hope to bring client-first mindset many painting companies simply don't have. As a devout follower of Jesus, everything I do is to glorify Him and provide a secure future to my family. My mission is integrity and honesty. For you, that means dedication to a job well done and results that are unmatched. Born and raised in Ohio, I love being a father and husband, backyard BBQs and weekends at the lakes.
What's in the name
Side Cut Painting was born from the historical significance of the Maumee River and its passenger and commerce canals... and side cuts! After moving to the area, my family was immediately drawn to the beautiful parks along the Maumee River and the peaceful natural preserves- specifically a 100 year old park with nearly 200 year old passenger canals steeped in rich history. We wanted to build something that called back to another era and a brand rooted in our local history. For us, it's not just about building a business, but about leaving a legacy for our community and every home we have the privilege of painting!
